Architectural Record - April 2025

2025 April

For April, RECORD turns its attention to interiors with an eclectic selection of projects—they range from a 5-star Roman hotel to a Chicago hospital canteen to an Israeli eatery in South Florida—that showcase sophisticated and complex design solutions. A special Kitchen & Bath section continues the theme with profiles of five disparate and just as transformative commissions. Elsewhere in the issue, we check into and check out a boutique hotel on the Houston campus of the Menil Collection, pay tribute to the late Ricardo Scofidio, tour the new offices of architecture and engineering firms, and admire the deferential but daring revamp of a rare I.M. Pei–designed house in Washington, D.C.

Check back throughout the month for additional content.
