Architectural Record - May 2025

2025 May

May’s special continuing education section surveys six tall projects that innovate in different ways, including singular new towers in Hong Kong, Milan, Malmö, and the Seattle area, alongside refreshed and reborn high-rises in London and New York. Elsewhere in the issue, we step back inside the Frick Collection, a Manhattan museum that recently reopened following a yearslong renovation and expansion, and check out an athletic facility in Takamatsu, Japan, by SANAA, that brings three venues under one undulating roof. We also pay tribute to SOM’s David Childs, visit a Catalonian “cathedral” for robotics, and admire the House of the Month, a restored 1828 villa in Toronto.

Check back throughout the month for additional content.
