Comprising multiple honors for both built and unbuilt projects as well as recognitions for individual practitioners, the Architectural Record Awards welcomes submissions until July 15. 

Recipients in the disciplines of architecture and landscape architecture include Cory Henry, Akima Brackeen, Tameka Baba, Sean Burkholder, and Karen Lutsky. 

‘Growing Rowhouses’ by architect Ho-gyeum Kim takes top prize in the American Institute of Steel Construction’s annual award program for conceptual designs. 

Among those recognized by the Academy are Farshid Moussavi, Neri&Hu, and Andrés Jaque.

The Chengdu-based architect is the second Pritzker Prize laureate hailing from China.

Both held yearly since the early 1980s, Emerging Voices and the League Prize will now be held on alternating years, allowing the League to dedicate additional resources to both. 

The Japanese firm will be celebrated in London on May 1.
